Junior Section
All Squadrons may compete in Junior Section Drill, provided they have the correct complement.
Registrations for the NSW Group Review 2024 have now closed as of 4th August 2024 at 23:59 hours. Late entries are at the discretion of the respective NSW Group Officer/Commissioner for the competition.

All Squadrons may compete in Junior Section Drill, provided they have the correct complement.
All Squadrons & Wings may compete in Section Drill provided they have the correct complement. Only one entry per Squadron & Wing is allowed.
All Squadrons and Wings may compete in Officer Section Drill provided they have the correct complement. This competition is open to Officer and Warrant Officers. Wings may compete provided that the members of the Wing’s section do not also compete with their Squadron.
All Squadrons may compete in Flight Drill provided they have the correct complement. Squadrons may enter more than one flight.
All Squadrons may compete in Flag Party Drill, provided they have the correct complement. All members in the Flag Party must be from the same Squadron. Only one entry per Squadron is allowed.
All Squadrons may compete in Small Flag Party. Squadrons which elect to complete in Flag Party Competition are unable to compete in the Small Flag Party Competition.
All Squadrons may compete in Squad Drill, provided they have the correct number of participants. Only one entry per Squadron is allowed.
This competition is open to Squadron and Wing Bands only. Squadrons may enter more than one band. If a Squadron is entering more than one band must field a full band (24 Members) before any additional bands.
Competitors in the Solo Snare Drum competition shall be required to play a the compulsory tune followed by a free choice piece. Musical performance played during a free choice piece tune can be as creative as the competitor wishes.
Competitors in the Solo Tenor Drum competition shall be required to play a the compulsory tune followed by a free choice piece. Musical performance played during a free choice piece tune can be as creative as the competitor wishes.
Competitors in the Solo Bugle competition shall be required to play a the compulsory tune followed by a free choice piece. Musical performance played during a free choice piece tune can be as creative as the competitor wishes.
The theme for the Education Display this year is
"Australian Aviation Pioneers”.
Members are invited to submit entries for the Education Essay Competition. This year’s theme is "Forgotten Giant - Australian National Airways”.
There are two categories for members to compete in. These are ‘Moments In Motion’ and ‘The Human Connection’. Members are encouraged to enter both of these competitions.
A plastic model of an aircraft of 1/72 or smaller scale. No Metal, Pre-built, Snap Together or Lego models.
A plastic model of an aircraft of 1/48 or larger scale. No Metal, Pre-built, Snap Together or Lego models.
A diorama of a scene that includes at least one aircraft. Can be of any time period, but should be within the timeframe of the models used.
A diorama of a scene that is non-aeronautical in nature, e.g. anything that is not an aircraft. This can include scenes with boats, cars, trains, spacecraft, science fiction models.
A plastic model of any type other then an aircraft in any scale. No Metal, Pre-built, Snap Together or Lego models.
This category is a new addition to this year’s competition, the subject of Sci-Fi/Fantasy will encompass models that are of the Science Fiction and Fantasy genre (e.g. Star Wars, Star Trek and Warhammer).
A 1/72 scale CAC "BOOMERANG” that is built exactly as the instructions in box say. No detail kits, alternate decals or specialist paint schemes.
A balsa chuck glider with a wingspan less than 30 cm. This competition has both a static and flight judging components for each entry.
Kite can be of any design but extra points will be awarded to designs based on Lawrence Hargraves kite designs.
Each Squadron is invited to enter one (1) team in each ball games competitions. Each team shall consist of six (6) members who shall be under the age of twelve (12) years. Squadrons can combine to enter a unit.
